SEX AND THE CITY……PUKE!
Posted Tuesday June 01 2010 at 6:31pmIf have a …well, if you’re a woman, chances are you saw Sex and the City 2 this past weekend. But the big question is: Did you love it or hate it?
The second film has drawn a ton of criticism, which has almost overshadowed the film itself. It ended up at #3 at the box office with $37 million. It got beat out by Prince of Persia ($37.8 million), and Shrek Forever After ($55.7 million).
But enough about the numbers—was it good or not? A lot of people say yes! Some believe SATC is about female relationships, life changes, hardship, and fabulous clothes! I suppose the same was found in SATC2?
That being said, it’s understandable that the sequel got so many bad reviews. The expectation that comes along with the franchise is massive, and many viewers likely went into the theater knowing they wouldn’t like it as much...
Ok, ya knew I’d put my 2 cents in: Seriously, it’s about these old broads trying to hold on to their youth and having as much, yes, “SEX” as they can all over the city. Come on, if it was reversed. If were guys doing the same it’d be trashed by women’s groups for being “sexist” and “ juvenile”. Personally, I feel the “city” could use a little less “sex”….Kim Catrell was cute, once, in that movie about a mannequin. Sarah Jessica Parker used to have a slammin lil booty….well, when I was 15….about a million years ago before she started to look like Michael Bolton (before the haircut, remember her Target commercials?).
In short, I think it should be called “Skanks Acting Like They’re Pretty” (sorry, I shouldn’t have said “acting”, because they clearly can’t.). I sometimes forget that I write a scene or two from time to time. Hmmm….nah, I’ll stick to my strengths: Comic book stuff like a grown man should. Haahaha

Right outta da headlines…cause I’m a lazy reader…
Posted Friday May 14 2010 at 7:46pmChristina Aguilera: If You Don't Like My New Music, **** You
Well isn’t Christina Aguilera a little fiery…… well, I guess she’s always been, but perhaps a little more so these days of “hey I got a new album…”
Bridget Daly writes on Hollyscoop.com:
Christina Aguilera is back with a new album and a new attitude. And as she says in ‘Not Myself Tonight,’ "I feel brand new. And if you don't like it, f*ck you."
Christina has been getting a lot of criticism on her new song, which is super racy. She’s also gotten comparisons to Lady Gaga, which Xtina brushed off, saying that she’s been around a lot longer.

“I’m in it for the long haul,” Aguilera tells Billboard in a new interview that hits newsstands May 17th. “And a decade later in my career, I have nothing to prove.”
She adds, "At this point in my career, I'm over any and all weird comparisons or negativity."
Although Christina has cranked out numerous hits, she says that isn’t what motivates her. She recalled a recent interaction with her label: “There was actually a song that the label really wanted me to record, and I just said ‘no,’ because it didn’t fit on the album – it wasn’t creatively inspiring to me.
"They said, ‘It’s a hit, it’s a hit!’ And absolutely it’s a hit for someone. But it’s not for me, because when it jeopardizes my integrity too much I can’t do it. The hit thing…,” she trails off with a sigh. “ ‘Who Let the Dogs Out’ was a f***ng hit, you know what I mean?”
Aussie singer, Sia, who is working with Aguilera is also quoted in the article saying, “Christina could s*** in a bottle and her fans would still love it.”
Thankfully for us, Christina gave us “Genie In A Bottle” instead …
I don’t see much comparison myself, but personally, I think there is more than enough room for Two somewhat hoochie-like (Ga Ga being the weirder of the two) blonde girl sqwakers…..hehehehehe…….

HEROES GETS CANCELLED!!!!

Ok, I admit that I wasn’t that into the show Heroes, except for an occasional peep to steal a special effects idea from time to time…..but it is indeed headed to the scrap pile without a finale.
The super-series averaged less than 5 million viewers in its latest season. The network had considered giving the Tim Kring-produced drama a few more episodes to wrap up storylines, but the cost of the show and NBC's expanding fall slate led to Heroes' cancelation.
Well, it wasn’t Smallville ya know. Hahahaha
