ETSU Board of Trustees meets to discuss ten-year vision for university development
East Tennessee State University’s Board of Trustees spent its meeting on Friday asking the question “What if?” For the past 18 months, the board has worked on a strategic vision for the university’s next ten years. The vision plan includes improving access to education and widening partnerships with businesses around the region to provide more off-campus learning opportunities and spark economic development.
ETSU President Dr. Noland says the school’s plan is to be a driving economic force throughout the Tri-Cities. Noland goes on to say the plans have been dreamed, and now it’s time to see it through. Read more here.
