First housing development in over two decades breaks ground in Erwin

The first housing development in more than twenty years is coming to Unicoi County. Officials say the new Fishery Village has broken ground in Erwin. This development will feature 36 new one and two-level homes when completed.

The homes will be constructed by Wolfe Development, led by the Town of Jonesborough’s former Mayor, Kelly Wolfe. Fishery Village will be located at the intersection of Zane Whitson Drive and Brown Road in Erwin. Homes are expected to be under construction by the middle of next year.
