Sheriff Sexton makes new appointments in Washington County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office
Newly-appointed Sheriff of Washington County, Tennessee Keith Sexton has announced additions and promotions within his staff based in Jonesborough.
Former Johnson City Police Chief John Lowry will serve as Sexton’s Chief Deputy while Thomas Dillard was tabbed as Captain of the agency’s Criminal Investigation Department and Don Finley is the new Jail Administrator.
Other changes include:
– Randall Wines was promoted to Captain. Wines began his service with the WCSO in 1992.
– Kevin Sanders is now a Lieutenant, School Resource Officers. He’s been with WCSO since 1996.
– Coit Dixon joined WCSO in 2002, and was promoted by Sheriff Sexton to Lieutenant, Platoon One.
– Kevin Hurd, who joined the WCSO’s Reserves in 2008, became a full-time deputy in 2015. Sheriff Sexton promoted him to Sergeant with the Training Unit.
– Tim Moore began his career with WCSO as a reserve in 2006 before being hired in 2007. Sheriff Sexton named him Sergeant, Platoon Three.
Sexton also announced that more changes would be taking place over the next 30 days.
