A Dad’s “How To” YouTube Channel Has (Deservedly) Become Wildly Popular
For so many us running to Dad for advice on how to do some basic things, like unclogging a pipe, learning how to tie a tie or fix a running toilet, is just not a possibility. That’s why this wildly popular YouTube Channel by Rob Kenney is truly the most helpful, and sweet, thing you’ll see this week. Unless chubby, giggling babies start riding Corgis wild West style that is, and my fingers are always going to be crossed on that one.
It’s not just real life, easy to follow practical know how, there’s that smiling visage spouting “dad jokes” being so helpful and well, dad-like. Rob Kenney, who grew up without a father himself states in the show’s description, that his aim is to “provide useful, practical content to many basic tasks that everyone should know how to do.” In an interview with Shattered magazine, Kenney shared that his father had left him and his seven siblings when Kenney was only 14 years old. Once he married and had two kids of his own, he made it his mission to provide them with guidance along the journey to adulthood. Simplemost.com provides even more videos from Kenney. – Jinger Royal
