Kingsport Schools Looking At Wide Range Of Reopening Scenarios
Now that Local Education Associations have their hands on a guidance document to help lay out plans for reopening Tennessee schools, Kingsport City schools say they are working through a wide variety of issues and possibilities when it comes to the reopening of schools. Assistant Superintendent Andy True says the state document helps lay out things that should be considered and is assisting with discussions and planning internally. True say the school system is basically planning for four potential scenarios, Kids back in school, a mix of in school and virtual learning, all virtual learning and intermittent virtual learning and the logistics that come with all of those possibilities. There’s no word from Governor Lee as to when schools will get the go ahead to restart. – Electric 94.9 News Room
