ETSU Issues A Mask Mandate Campus-Wide

A mask mandate has now been issued on the East Tennessee State University campus in Johnson City.

The message issued by the school on Tuesday says face coverings are required in classrooms, while inside all ETSU facilities, and outdoors in an effort to curb and prevent COVID-19 cases.

The guidelines say that a student who attends class without a mask will be furnished with a disposable face covering or will be asked to complete their coursework in an alternative environment.

They also allow for students to report others not wearing a mask to the ETSU Dean of Students office. – Electric 94.9 News Room
