Tennessee To Receive 61 Million Dollars For Broadband Internet Access
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought to light the importance of access to reliable, affordable broadband internet to facilitate telemedicine, distance learning, and telecommuting. And now Tennessee Governor Bill Lee is announcing 61 million dollars for Tennessee Emergency Broadband Fund grants to improve access to broadband internet across the state. With many school systems using a virtual, distance learning approach, access to reliable internet is even more important.
