Former Abingdon carrier confesses to federal mail theft charge
A former Abingdon, Virginia mail carrier pleaded guilty to stealing hundreds of items from customers on his route this year.
Bradley Alan Wolfe, 38, confessed to the federal charges against him including possession of stolen mail and bank fraud. Prosecutors said he took various items including packages, a passport, cash, and he altered the check of a resident and cashed it receiving almost $5,000.
Wolfe will be sentenced on Feb. 28th where he could receive up to 30 years in prison.
