Ken Baldwin will not seek re-election for Tennessee’s 1st District Attorney General
The District Attorney General for East Tennessee’s district, Ken Baldwin, announced he will not run for re-election. Baldwin says he has served 38 years as a prosecutor for the state, and will not seek a re-election for the Office of District Attorney for 2022.
Baldwin goes on to say although he is retiring as a prosecutor, he does not plan to be entirely absent from courtrooms in East Tennessee. He says in his statement that it has been a privilege to serve this community as the District Attorney General.
