Aldi’s New Coconut Wine Hits Shelves
Aldi’s first made a mark on our radar by releasing three new, summery wines that are truly magnificent. Pacific Fruit Vineyards Sweet Watermelon, Sweet Pineapple and Mango Moscato.
Having tried two out of three of those amazing wines, purely for science, I can attest that they are wonderful. That’s why the news that Aldi’s is now stocking their shelves with a creamy coconut wine called, “Petit Coconut” has my taste buds screaming for a chance to try it out. Once again, all strictly in the name of research. According to Tastings.com the wine features an “Opaque creamy ivory color. Aromas of coconut cream and white chocolate cookie with a creamy, vibrant, sweet light-to-medium body and a warming, breezy buttermilk pie, coconut macaroon, vanilla yogurt, and white pepper finish. A fruity, tangy, creamy treat.” The coconut wine has a 13.9-percent ABV and is available nationwide for $7 per 750-milliliter bottle.
