Ed Sheeran Joins TV Show

Ed Sheeran is going to show fans his dark side — and his acting chops — by joining FX’s upcoming drama series The Bastard Executioner. Executioner is from Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter, and follows a 14th century knight (True Blood star Stephen Moyer) who becomes an executioner. Sheeran will play wil play Sir Cormac, an “ambitious and deadly protégé of a high-ranking church elder.” Bastard Executioner is expected to launch this fall.
