Elizabethton Mayor Curt Alexander ends 20 years of public service
Elizabethton Mayor Curt Alexander says he’s leaving public service to spend more time with his family.
Serving the city is what Alexander has done for 20 years– as a councilman then elected mayor where he remained for 18 years. Among the projects constructed on Alexander’s watch–a $2.5 million renovation for the city’s police department and a $5 million sporting complex and band performance area for Elizabethton High.
Alexander’s last meeting with the council was November 14.
