Franklin Woods Community Hospital reopens after boiler repairs

Services are resuming at Franklin Woods Community Hospital after a boiler system failure disrupted hospital operations over the past week. Ballad Health announced that service was fully restored to the hospital’s boiler system on Monday and that hospital services resumed at 1:15 p.m., including inpatient care and labor and delivery. The hospital has also resumed admitting patients through the Emergency Department. Elective surgeries will resume on Tuesday and hospital staff will contact patients about scheduling future procedures.
