GasBuddy reports slight decrease of gas prices nationwide

Gas Prices in Virginia remain unchanged over the past week, according to a report from GasBuddy. The organization surveys more than 4,000 stations across the commonwealth to collect data for these reports.

GasBuddy’s head analyst, Patrick Haan, says that although the average price hasn’t changed, prices slowly declined across the nation over the past few days, which is a well-needed break from the recent surge in prices. He goes on to say that $4.50/gal is off the table for now, but could certainly be a possibility in the future if conflict continues between Russia and Ukraine.
