Grandma’s Accidental Thanksgiving Invite Text Ends In Dinner And Friendship

VIDEO: Remember how that Grandmother’s accidental Thanksgiving invite via text to a random stranger story went viral? It ended up being so much more than that. It started after 17 year old Jamal Hinton responded to mis-text from Wanda Dench, by jokingly texting back, “Can I still get a plate, tho?” She told him, “Of course you can. That’s what grandmas do…feed everyone!” Jamal posted the story online & it went viral. But, it didn’t end there. Jamal joined Wanda and her family for dinner and now a real friendship has sprung between the two. Wanda said, “I just clicked when I met him and first talked to him, Oh my gosh, I want to get to know this guy.”
