Greeneville man arrested after pointing gun at neighbor
A Greeneville man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after he pointed a gun at his neighbor on Monday. Greeneville Police Department responded to 1600 TN-70 Bypass Highway just after 3 p.m. after an aggravated assault report. The victim told police that their neighbor, identified as Ethan Fredericks, was outside allegedly yelling racial slurs and causing a disturbance. The victim went outside to tell Fredericks to stop yelling and that’s when Fredericks reportedly pulled a semi-automatic handgun out and chambered a round, pointing the gun at the victim. A warrant was issued charging Fredericks with aggravated assault and he was arrested at his residence Tuesday and taken to the Greene County Detention Center.
