A guy named Carter Wilkerson asked the entire Twitter world to retweet his tweet so that he could have free Wendy’s chicken nuggets for a year — and guess what? He now has the most retweeted tweet of all time! 

Needless-to-say, the 16-year-old from Nevada now gets free chicken nuggets for a year! 

That’s so crazy!

Wendy’s actually set the bar to 18 million retweets, and although he only had 3.45 million retweets, he topped Ellen DeGeneres’s record of the most tweets for her picture of her at the Oscars. 

Ellen even invited Carter to her show and asked her audience to retweet her Oscars selfie, along with his nuggets tweet, so that she could redeem her record!

The company is also donating $100,000 to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption in honor of the milestone.
