One person escapes house fire in Carter County

One person escaped without injury from a house fire in the Stoney Creek area of Carter County Sunday morning. The home on Lick Branch Road was around three-quarters ingulfed when crews arrived. The occupant of the home escaped uninjured, the cause of the fire has not been determined and remains under investigation.
