Sullivan East Volleyball Community Member Tests Positive For COVID-19

Sullivan County Director of Schools Dr. David Cox has confirmed a member of the Sullivan East volleyball community has tested positive for COVID-19.

A statement from the system says they were made aware of the positive case on July 29, and all activities, including practice, have been suspended through Aug. 12. The Sullivan County Health Dept. is conducting contact tracing and advises those who may have come into contact with the positive case to quarantine.

On Wednesday, Sullivan County Schools said a member of the football community at Sullivan North High School had previously tested positive for COVID-19. – Electric 94.9 News Room
