Taylor Swift Meets 10-Year-Old Girl With Heart Complications

Taylor Swift was in Detroit on Tuesday and granted a little girl’s wish! She met 10-year-old Izzy who suffers from congenital heart defects. She has been in hospice since she was 5 years old and has had multiple heart procedures. She also happens to be a huge Taylor Swift fan. Izzy’s mom wrote on her blog that she hoped Taylor’s Detroit show would be the best one yet for her daughter. Local news outlets picked up the story and Izzy’s family wound up getting meet-and-greet passes to see Taylor backstage. Izzy’s mom said it was “a moment never to be forgotten.” Izzy “freaked out completely.” Mom said “we have never, ever seen her this way.”
