Tiger King’s Doc Antle convicted on animal trafficking felonies in Virginia

A Virginia jury has convicted Netflix series ‘Tiger King’ co-star Doc Antle on four felony charges related to purchasing animals in the Commonwealth to display at his South Carolina zoo.

Attorney General Jason Miyares and his team were prosecutors in the case based in Fredrick County. The report said the investigation into Antle dealt with the illegal purchase of endangered lion cubs. He will be sentenced Sept. 14.
