Bored with my search for the perfect face mask pattern tutorial on YouTube, I stumbled across this amazing video on customizing Nesting Dolls. With bored teenagers, and a couple of adults, at home we are always looking for something crafty we can all do together. This idea is perfect because it can adapted to each person’s own individual tastes. Got an animal lover? Puppies, kitties…whatever critter they love represented on each doll. One family could even share a large set of dolls, each painting their own doll and when completed, you have a lovely keepsake that not only becomes a treasured keepsake, but a lovely memory. Even if painting is not your thing, there are always markers or even Decoupage. Decoupage allows you to use decorative pictures, images, even magazine images that you cut to size and brush a glue like substance over. Mod Podge is a favorite of mine.
